| I, Nina A. Tsyganova was born in Moscow, Russia. After High School, I was accepted in Moscow Aviation Institute, from which I graduated with Master’s Degree in Science and Engineering.
After graduation form the university, I spent 15 years in one of the leading aviation companies of Russia working as an engineer. For family reasons, I left the company and started to work in the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research as an electronic engineer.
In 1992 I came with my husband to Dallas. He was invited to participate in the Super Collider Project.
In 1995, I started to work as a teacher. I have been teaching in Santa Clara Academy since 2000 as a Math and Science teacher.
I received the Work of Heart Award in November 2007. |
