Welcome to Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy!
We are excited to begin this upcoming 2020-2021 school year and to share our mission with you and your family. We have many new and enriching opportunities for our students this year, including the continued growth in our Dual Language Program for grades PK3-4th, and the continued Spanish classes for grades 5-8. The faculty and staff of Santa Clara are beyond excited to teach, as well as learn more about, our student's and families' cultures and traditions.
In preparation for this school year, we have strengthened our School Family program, to continue to increase the communication and celebration across grade levels. Our students will attend Adoration on the first Friday of every month, and we welcome you to join us in this. Our students will also be representing the school at Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Church once a month, to spread the Good News of our faith. Middle School students will be leading the school in Live Stations of the Cross, and we invite you to witness their leadership and model of faith. We are excited to bring back our 2nd Annual Talent Show, Christmas Around the World, our Mexican Independence Celebration, and the Music Composition Contest among students.
Construction on the New Building is in full swing. I am thrilled to witness this growth, and feel blessed for the opportunities it will give our current and future students. I will keep you updated on the progress, and ask for prayers during this time of building and growth.
I encourage you to partake in the incredible programs we have planned and to partner with us to ensure your child's learning is the very best. You are the very first teachers your children ever had, and with your collaboration and participation, we are certain that our students will succeed.
With so many firsts, it is ever important to look to our past and remain thankful for the blessings we have been given. We will continue to find God in all that we do, and through prayer, we will have His guided strength to empower our future. Our theme this year is "Building the Kingdom of God." Join us in our journey this year, as we continue to walk as disciples of Christ and serve others.
I look forward to the wonderful year ahead, and to seeing you all in the hallways!
