At Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy, our mission is to provide a high-quality Catholic education that nurtures the whole child—academically, spiritually, and socially. New Student Admissions Policy

Families interested in enrolling a new student must first submit an application and complete the admissions assessment and family interview process.

Important Information

Applications are accepted online only.
The application fee is $50 per student and is non-refundable.
Application fees must be paid electronically at the time of submission.
Admissions applications are accepted year-round.

Admissions Priority

Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy gives enrollment priority to siblings of currently enrolled students. If openings remain, admission is offered to qualified applicants who meet all admissions requirements.

Step 1: Request Information

Begin your admissions journey by submitting a Request Information form. This allows our Admissions Team to learn more about your family and answer any initial questions you may have.

Step 2: Schedule a Campus Tour

After receiving your inquiry, a member of our team will contact you by phone or email to schedule a personalized campus tour.

We offer tours daily and will work with your schedule to find a convenient time for your visit.

During your tour, you will:

Explore our classrooms and facilities
Learn about our academic and faith formation programs
Meet faculty and staff
Experience our welcoming school community

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Once you have toured our campus, we invite you to submit an application for admission.

How to Apply

Create an online admissions account.
Verify your email address using the confirmation email sent to you.
Log in and create a new student application.
Complete and submit all required information.
Pay the non-refundable $50 application fee.

Applications are accepted online only and may be completed at your convenience.

Step 4: Gather Required Admissions Documents

Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
First Holy Communion Certificate (Grades 3-8, if applicable)
Current Immunization Records*
Campus Tour
Family Interview (including student)
IEP and/or Diagnostic Evaluation (if applicable)
State or Standardized Test Scores (STAAR, iReady, MAP, Renaissance, etc.)

*Immunization Requirements

Students enrolled at Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy must provide official immunization records from a physician or health clinic. Records must include:

Healthcare provider signature or official stamp
Month, day, and year of administration
Documentation dated within the past 12 months

All required immunizations must be completed by the first day of attendance. Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy follows all immunization requirements established by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department.

Step 5: Admissions Assessment and Family Interview

As part of the admissions process, applicants may participate in a grade-level assessment to help us understand their academic readiness and learning needs.

Families will also meet with school leadership to discuss:

Academic expectations
Student support services
Faith formation opportunities
The partnership between home and school

Step 6: Admissions Decision

Once all application materials have been received and reviewed, our Admissions Team will notify families regarding the admissions decision.

Families who receive an offer of admission will be provided with enrollment instructions and important next steps.

Step 7: Complete Enrollment Application

After acceptance, families will be invited to complete the enrollment process through our online enrollment portal.

Enrollment Fee for New Students

$150, Non Refundable

Enrollment is finalized once all required forms, documents, and fees have been submitted.
